General Questions

Once your order has been processed you will receive an email with the shipping confirmation and tracking.

Orders ship Monday through Australia Post. We are not able to ship to PO Boxes. 

Due to the high value of our products signature confirmation will be required on all orders.

Take advantage of our customised layby options. We can work out terms to suit most budgets, depending on the item and price. Perfect for engagement rings – get a little more wow factor for the price tag with the ability to make weekly or fortnightly payments towards your partners dream ring! Having flexible terms takes the stress out of demanding repayments.

Minimum of 20% deposit. From there we will work out a term length.  Layby terms are 8 weeks. Expensive items may be considered for a slightly longer period to help the customer afford repayments. Payments can be made instore, by bank transfer or via credit card over the phone. Updated emails sent after each repayment to help our customers keep track of how much is owing.

Once payment is received in full the item will be shipped or made available for pickup and sized if requested. Please note that no pieces will be released before full payment is received. 


The 10% deposit will be forfeited if the customer cancels the sale during the layby period.

We offer a full money back guarantee on all online purchases. You must contact us within 3 days to discuss a return or an exchange and return the item within 7 days. The item must be returned in the condition you received it in order to receive a full refund. The only cost to you would be the return shipping and insurance. 

We accept major credit cards, PayPal, bank deposit, cash in store and Afterpay.

Kings Estate Jewellery uses Secure Socket Layering (SSL), the highest industry standard encryption technology. It’s the system all the biggest and best on-line stores use.

We do not store credit card details, nor do we share any of our customers information with any other party. We only use customer email addresses for store communication or if they have signed up for our newsletter.


Unless otherwise stated, all gemstones are graded and are evaluated in their mountings. Mountings prohibit full and accurate observation of gem quality and weight, all data pertaining to mounted gems can be considered as approximate unless accompanied by an independent valuation or laboratory report (GIA, AGL or EGL). 

Authenticity, antiquity, decorative periods, vintages and or circa dating are determined to the best of our ability based on materials incorporated, methods of manufacture, design, hallmarks and signatures, lapidary techniques, technological developments and consultation of our extensive reference library and materials. Dating and period attributions are not an exact science as decorative periods frequently overlap and borrow influences from one another.

Some but not all pieces of jewellery in our store come with an Independent Valuation Certificate. We can provide a Valuation Certificate on all pieces in our inventory. The cost for this service is $70 per certificate and can take 5 working days to process.

An appraisal is not the resale value of a piece; it is the replacement value used generally for insurance purposes. It indicates the cost of the piece to be remade or purchased new if it were to be lost or stolen.
