1. PURCHASING ITEMS

We accept all credit cards online through our secure payment gateway.(Stripe). We also are proud to offer Afterpay on all of our items under $2,000. We also offer payment via direct deposit please contact us directly to arrange this.

2. ORDER FULFILLMENT

Once an order has been made online, it will not be dispatched until the payment has been received in full and Kings Estate Jewellery is satisfied with the integrity of the order.

In order to ensure the order process, you’ll be contacted by a Kings Estate representative at the time of your order to confirm all details.

3. ITEM CONDITIONS

Preloved, Antique, Vintage and Estate jewellery are by nature jewellery that has been worn and owned previously. The condition at the time of purchase is what is displayed in the shop and online.

Vintage Jewellery will not be brand new, in “never worn” showroom perfect condition. The jewellery itself may show signs of minor wear and tear, or small repairs may have been carried out over the years. This is part of the beauty and patina of owning a piece of jewellery with a history.

Our  jewellery pieces are all cleaned and checked by our team before they are displayed for sale. Kings Estate Jewellery has been in the business for over 30 years. As such we take pride in our customer service and value all our customers, if you have any issues at any time, please do not hesitate in discussing the matter with us. We do not cover wear and tear of jewellery.

4. PRODUCT PRICING

All prices displayed on our online store, are in Australian dollars and include GST. Prices and quotes are correct at the time of printing but are subject to change without notice. All items of Antique jewellery offered are individual one-off pieces that are priced on their condition rarity, stone content, gold carat weight and age.

5. SHIPPING

Currently, we ship only to Australian postal addresses. We offer shipping at $15- flat rate domestic (local- Australia only) shipping on all orders they are sent tracked express signature delivery by Australia Post.

We also offer the option to buy online & collect in our Dural store- Click & Collect.

Kings Estate Jewellery will NOT ship to P.O. Boxes or Parcel Lockers. Please only provide a monitored physical address for shipping

Kings Estate Jewellery aims to have all orders dispatched within 2-business days from the time of ordering for products in-stock. We will always notify you if this cannot be done via email or phone. Please specify when ordering if you require your parcel to be delivered on a particular date and we will endeavor to have it there at that time. Delivery in Australia can take between 1-5 days depending on time of year.

We will always try and get your purchase to you promptly, but there may be times when, despite our best efforts, parcels are delayed in the delivery process. We will always endeavor to work with our delivery partners to ensure prompt arrival of your gifts.

It is your obligation to enter the correct delivery address details and phone number at the time of ordering. Should you enter the wrong address, we are not obliged to re-send the order to the correct address at our expense.

Once shipped, we will provide your orders tracking details via SMS or email so that you can keep up to date with the process and its location. Whilst we provide this tracking information, Kings Estate Jewellery carries no obligation, responsibility or authority once the parcel is picked up by the shipping partner. Please track your parcel.

It is the responsibility of the customer to inform Kings Estate Jewellery if an order does not arrive. Once we learn an order has not arrived by the due date, we will lodge enquiries with the courier to ensure delivery occurs as soon as possible. We will not be held liable for any loss or damage resulting from late delivery.

Kings Estate Jewellery’s choice method for sending requires a signature upon delivery. Due to the nature of the products, this is non-negotiable.

By agreeing to the purchase, you agree that we have satisfied the condition where a signature has been received from the recipient, appropriate agent, or proxy recipient of the order (chosen at the courier partner’s discretion). You agree that in doing so we have delivered the order within the terms of the agreement between you and us.

Terms and Conditions herein, you agree that late delivery does not constitute a failure of our agreement and does not entitle you to cancellation of an order. Kings Estate Jewellery take no liability for any item/s couriered or posted, by choosing this method of delivery you are agreeing to enter into a risk that it is out of our control if something should happen we cannot be held liable.

6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Any liability in connection with goods or services supplied to you will, subject to any non-excludable liability for breach of conditions or warranties implied by legislation and to the maximum extent permitted by law, at the election of Kings Estate Jewellery be limited to:

  1. In relation to goods, the replacement or repair of the goods, the supply of equivalent goods, the payment of the cost of replacing or repairing the goods or the payment of the cost of obtaining equivalent goods; and
  2. In relation to services, the supplying of the services again or the payment of the cost of having the services supplied again.
  3. This website is a result of multiple computer systems working together. From time to time there may be errors. All effort is made to ensure all information on this website is correct. However, if an error is found, we will take measures to ensure you are informed.

Terms and conditions for Valuations:

Items described in valuations have been examined & the value given is based solely on the valuers opinion. This valuation is for retail replacement- insurance purposes only- unless otherwise stated. The pricing structure above is based off retail replacement on the date provided for the valuation. Retail Replacement Value is based on assumption that the item/s mentioned above will be available for replacement on the open market though a retail high end Sydney outlet. If the item is rare, estate-vintage, collectable or antique it might not be possible to locate or source an identical item. Values are expressed in Australian dollars only & are inclusive of GST.  Any images- photographs included are not representative of the items actual size & may have been subjected to enhancement digitally. The values stated above is based on professional research & current market conditions at the date shown above. Whilst all care is taken, no liability is accepted for errors or omissions in the certificate, including liability to any person by reason of negligence.

This valuation is to provide the consumers & trade professionals with an accurate & educated opinion of the description of the Jewellery item. Valuation certificates provide details of that item, which has been tested & measured to our best ability- grade, weighed & the approximate dimensions taken all whilst none of the stones have been removed from their current settings. All calculations are based on internationally accepted practices & formulas.  The limitations imposed by settings mean that figures provided above are estimates. The Values & descriptions provided represent an opinion on quality, workmanship, age, origin, wear & tear- condition, & are based on fair local market conditions in Australian dollars on the date specified. All diamonds clarity grades are based on x10 magnification by an experienced diamond grader & these are not compared to a master set of diamonds. Discrepancies in diamonds grading may occur when diamonds are set due to the colour of the precious metal, restrictions of the settings, & the condition of settings.

The precious metal purity is that marked on the article, when testing of the precious metal is considered necessary the results are approximate.

The valuation is intended for the person who name is on certificate & shall not be reproduced or used for promotional purpose without the valuers permission. Valuations are only intended for the purposes stated & are based on the opinion of the valuer. The opinion of the description of the item listed above may vary upon examination by other valuers & gemmologists. Where enhancements or treatments are present, this is mentioned. Lack of, or for some gemstones, where heat treatment or oiling is generally accepted it is not listed unless otherwise requested. All grading is performed under natural day light conditions. No destructive tests are performed, unless consented by the item’s owner.

This certificate is not to be used as apart of two price marketing & it may not be used for promotional purposes. The valuer cannot accept liability for any transaction or third party relying on this documentation. Valuation price figure is not representative of a resale value, or that of the original item price prior to discount. Value is based on professional research & current market conditions at the date shown above. Whilst all care is taken, No liability is accepted for any errors or omissions in the certificate, including any liability to any person by reason of negligence.

This Valuation represents retail replacement value & maybe used for insurance purposes. The values & descriptions stated are opinions. Replacement values are based on an identical, similar, or new item unless stated otherwise from a traditional prestige (high end) retail showroom in Australian dollars including GST. The values may not represent the price one might pay in a retail showroom after negotiations between a buyer & a seller. Values maybe affected by fluctuations in the currency market with exchange rate & supply & demand in the marketplace of gems & precious metals. Diamond grades are based on international GIA standards. The values stated in the above certificate do not represent the value one would expect to receive if the item was to be sold on the second hand market. Jewellery items bought on line- via the internet will also incur different pricing structure- & will have a different value assessment as there purchase was not reflective of the retail store/s environment. A retail stores overheads will be much higher the internet based traders.

The costs associate with valuations:

  • A single item valuation is $70
  • Multiple piece valuations cost $60 per item
8. PRODUCT INFORMATION

Prices of goods and services and delivery and other charges displayed on the Kings Estate Jewellery website is current at the time of display. These prices are subject to variation without notice.

We will always attempt to be as accurate as possible with our product descriptions and pricing. However, we are unable to warrant those product descriptions or other content of the website is accurate, complete, reliable, current or error-free. The photos on the website serve as a part of the description of the item. Please remember items that are antique & vintage will have some form of wear & tear associated with there age & this character is apart of there charm.

9. CANCELLATIONS

By Us – We reserve the right not to provide goods or services, terminate accounts, remove, or edit content or cancel orders (or part thereof) at our sole discretion at any time. Without limiting the operation of any other Terms and Conditions herein, we will not be held liable for loss or damage arising from the exercising of these rights

Our agreement with you only comes into existence once we have received your order and your payment have been processed. Once we have accepted payment for an order, cancellation of the order is within our sole discretion. Orders that cannot be cancelled will be subject to our terms, conditions and policies relating to Returns and Exchanges. If an order is cancelled BY YOU BEFORE IT IS SHIPPED OUT we deduct 10% surcharge we are charged from Afterpay & stripe.

10. RETURNS, EXCHANGES – CREDIT NOTES AND REFUNDS

You, or the recipient, of an order, may return any items that have been purchased from Chilton’s Antiques within 14 days of purchase. If you have changed your mind or are unhappy with a gift, we offer store credit only. We do not offer refunds, so please choose carefully. If an order is cancelled BY YOU BEFORE IT IS SHIPPED OUT we deduct 10% surcharge as we are still charged this from Afterpay & stripe we need cover those costs.

A Credit Note issued cannot be redeemed for cash and is valid for 1 years from the date of issue. Credit notes & Gift Vouchers must be used in the one transaction, the full amount, within 1 years of the date of issue.

It is your responsibility to ensure the goods are in the same condition as they left the store and are adequately packaged to ensure that they are not damaged during return transit. We will not issue a return or exchange unless the product/s are in a saleable condition upon return.

We will not exchange on goods that have been engraved or altered in any other way. In cases where you should return a ring that has been resized to fit you and a charge has been applied this will be non-refundable and will not count towards your store credit.

We do not cover items of jewellery for wear and tear. We also recommend extra special care for any hollow jewellery or bracelet with pins. Do not garden or clean the house in it. Do not play a sport or participate in strenuous exercise whilst wearing the piece. The lifespan of jewellery depends on the person’s treatment of it.
